Cookie Policy

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how VSORA SAS (“VSORA”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://vsora.com (the “Website”) and how you can manage your choices. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser on your computer or other device when you visit a website. It can be read again by the website, or by the third party that placed it, during your visit or on a later visit. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser, scripts and pixels (small invisible images used to measure traffic). In this policy, we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

3. The cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary and functional cookies

These cookies are needed for the Website to work, to keep it secure, or to remember your cookie choices. Under French law they do not require your consent (Art. 82 French Data Protection Act), but we inform you of them below.

3.2 Statistics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, so that we can improve it. We only place them if you accept them.

3.3 Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies track your browsing across websites to build a profile or show you advertising. We do not use marketing cookies for our own advertising. Embedded videos (see 3.4) may place such cookies from the video platform, only if you accept them. If we start using marketing cookies ourselves, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

3.4 Embedded content

Some pages, such as articles in our Newsroom, contain videos hosted on YouTube. These videos are only loaded if you accept marketing cookies. Until then, a placeholder is displayed instead of the video. Once loaded, YouTube may place its own cookies, as listed in section 4 and described in its own privacy policy.

When you first visit the Website, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept or refuse all non-essential cookies with a single click, or choose by category. Refusing has no effect on your access to the Website. No statistics or marketing cookie is placed before you make your choice, or if you refuse.

We keep your choice for 6 months, after which we ask you again. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
